Delete your data

Hoblio is a local-first hobby shelf published by MOODOOS LLC. Most data you create in Hoblio stays on your device. This page explains how to remove it, and how to request deletion of limited data processed by us or by service providers acting on our behalf. The Privacy Policy is the main description of Hoblio's data practices.

Data stored on your device

Hoblio keeps your hobbies, pieces, notes, usage logs, local profile (display name and optional avatar photo), currency preference, theme preference, and any photos you added in the app's local storage. Hoblio does not upload this shelf data to Hoblio or its service providers.

To delete all of it at once:

This permanently removes the shelf data from the app on this device. Hoblio does not operate cloud sync. A separate copy may still exist in an exported file, a shared destination, or an operating-system device backup, depending on your app version and backup settings.

You can also uninstall Hoblio. Uninstalling removes all local data along with the app.

Optional data handled off your device

Hoblio uses two optional network services. If you submit in-app feedback, the feedback service hosted on Supabase receives:

The feedback form does not ask for a name or email address, but the message contains whatever you choose to type. If you purchase or restore Hoblio Pro, Apple or Google processes the payment and RevenueCat processes store purchase information, entitlement status, a random app-specific customer identifier, and limited technical information for verification and aggregate purchase reporting. On supported Apple devices, RevenueCat may also process limited App Store ad attribution. Hoblio does not receive your payment card details or attach that identifier to your name, email address, or a Hoblio account.

How to request deletion of service-provider data

Send an email to privacy@hoblio.app with the subject line "Hoblio data deletion". Tell us whether the request concerns feedback, a pseudonymous RevenueCat record, or both. To help us find feedback, include any of the following that you remember:

For a RevenueCat record, first try Restore in Hoblio. If the restore fails or no purchase is found, use the contact-support action shown on the purchase screen. The email draft includes the random Support ID used to locate the pseudonymous RevenueCat customer record; you can review it before sending. Hoblio does not keep that identifier in the main Settings screen.

We aim to acknowledge requests promptly and respond within 30 days, or within the period required by applicable law. We may request limited information needed to verify that the request concerns your record. We will delete records we control or instruct the relevant service provider to delete them, subject to legal, security, transaction-integrity, and dispute-resolution obligations.

What is kept after deletion

Reset shelf deletes local shelf data from that device. Deleting feedback or a RevenueCat customer record does not delete transaction records controlled by Apple or Google. If you later restore or make a purchase, RevenueCat may create a new customer record so the store entitlement can be verified. Deletion also does not remove a local backup you previously exported or a copy you previously shared; those copies must be deleted from the location where you saved them.
