Delete your data

Hoblio is a local-first hobby shelf published by MOODOOS LLC. Most data you create in Hoblio stays on your device. This page explains how to remove it, and how to request deletion of limited data processed by us or by service providers acting on our behalf. The Privacy Policy is the main description of Hoblio's data practices.

Data stored on your device

Hoblio keeps your hobbies, pieces, notes, usage logs, local profile (display name and optional avatar photo), currency preference, theme preference, and any photos you added in the app's local storage. Hoblio does not upload this shelf data to Hoblio or its service providers.

To delete all of it at once:

This permanently removes the shelf data from the app on this device. Hoblio does not operate cloud sync. A separate copy may still exist in an exported file, a shared destination, or an operating-system device backup, depending on your app version and backup settings.

Deleting the app normally removes its local app data. Offloading an app, keeping its data during uninstall, or restoring a device backup may preserve or restore a copy. Delete exported and backed-up copies separately if you no longer want them.

Optional data handled off your device

Current native iPhone and iPad feedback opens your email app; we receive a message only if you send it. In app versions with a direct-submit feedback form, the service hosted on Supabase receives:

The feedback form does not ask for a name or email address, but the message contains whatever you choose to type. Apple or Google processes payments. RevenueCat processes store purchase information, entitlement status, a random app-specific customer identifier, and limited technical information for verification and aggregate purchase reporting. On supported Apple devices, RevenueCat may also process limited App Store ad attribution. Hoblio does not receive your payment card details. Purchase-service setup and entitlement checks may occur when you open the app even without a purchase. If you email a Support ID, it helps us locate the record for your request.

How to request deletion of service-provider data

Send an email to privacy@hoblio.app with the subject line "Hoblio data deletion". Tell us whether the request concerns feedback, email, a pseudonymous purchase or attribution record, or another privacy matter. To help us find feedback, include any of the following that you remember:

If a purchase-support email draft offers a Support ID, you may include it to help us locate the purchase-service record. You do not need to buy Pro, attempt a restore, or send a shelf backup to make a privacy request. If you cannot find an identifier, email us and we will explain what limited information is needed to locate and verify the record, if it can be located.

We aim to acknowledge requests promptly and respond within 30 days, or within the period required by applicable law. We may request limited information needed to verify that the request concerns your record. We will delete records we control or instruct the relevant service provider to delete them, subject to legal, security, transaction-integrity, and dispute-resolution obligations.

What is kept after deletion

Reset shelf deletes local shelf data from that device. Deleting feedback or a RevenueCat customer record does not delete transaction records controlled by Apple or Google. If you later restore or make a purchase, or reopen the app, the purchase service may create or retrieve a customer record to provide its functions. Deletion of a record is not a permanent block on future requests from an installed app. Deletion also does not remove a local backup you previously exported or a copy you previously shared; those copies must be deleted from the location where you saved them.
