Privacy Policy

Hoblio is a local-first personal hobby shelf, operated by MOODOOS LLC, a Nevada limited liability company ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what the app stores and how that information is handled.

Who Hoblio is for

Hoblio is intended for general audiences. Hoblio is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information through Hoblio, contact us at [email protected] so we can remove it.

What Hoblio stores on your device

Hoblio stores the information you add in the app, including hobbies, pieces, notes, usage logs, local profile (display name and optional avatar photo), currency preference, theme preference, and optional photos you choose for your profile or pieces.

Where data lives

Hoblio stores this data on your device. The app does not currently provide cloud sync, account sign-in, analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking. Uninstalling Hoblio removes all this data from your device.

Photos and camera

If you choose to add a photo to your profile or to a piece, Hoblio uses the system photo picker or, with your permission, your device camera. The selected image is processed locally on your device for cropping and optional Hoblio Sketch styling. Photos are not uploaded to our servers.

Feedback

If you submit feedback in the app, we receive the message you wrote, the feedback type, app version, platform, and locale, via our feedback service (hosted on Supabase) so we can read and respond. Email addresses are not collected unless you choose the "Email instead" option, which opens your email client with the same message for you to send manually.

Backups

Hoblio can export a local JSON backup through the system share sheet. You choose where to save or send that file. Anyone with access to the backup file can read the data inside it.

Deleting data

You can reset your local shelf from Settings. Resetting removes your local hobbies, pieces, notes, and usage logs from this device. You can also uninstall Hoblio to remove all local data.

Purchases

Hoblio offers an optional one-time in-app purchase ("Hoblio Pro") that unlocks unlimited hobbies and pieces. Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play directly; Hoblio never receives your payment card details. To verify and restore purchases we use RevenueCat, which processes the anonymous purchase receipt provided by the store on our behalf. Your entitlement status is also cached locally on your device so the app works offline.

Accounts

We do not currently create user accounts. If account creation or cloud sync is added later, this policy and the in-app controls will be updated before those features are released.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. Material changes will also be announced in the app's release notes.
